St. Catherine University and the College for Adults and the Graduate College Admission team invites applications for an Account Manager/Assistant Director of Admissions position. This is a full-time position that works closely with prospective students as they apply for admission.
The Account Manager/Assistant Director of Admissions works to conduct outreach to employer partners, and will work with prospective students to help them find their career path and then find the easiest way for them to get there! Our Admission office offers a fast-paced environment with colleagues who are passionate about St. Catherine University and about finding potential partners and students who are a great fit. This position represents our College for Adults and our Graduate College, managing prospective student relationships and administering admission procedures.
Responsibilities include:
- Outreach, recruitment and lead generation. Recruitment, outreach, and partnership prospecting and development, face-to-face and digital, in a wide variety of external settings, which may include businesses, healthcare providers, schools, colleges, universities, professional organizations, public and nonprofit agencies. All outreach will be done in full partnership with the Associate VP, College for Adults and Graduate program directors and other faculty and other admission staff as well as other key internal constituents.
- Conversion. Work closely with prospective students to ensure high rates of conversion from the point of inquiry to application.
- Use consultative sales techniques to engage consistently with prospects throughout the recruitment cycle.
- Must also advise on a wide variety of policies, procedures and technical details, including academic program requirements, prerequisite requirements, licensure requirements, admissions procedures and financial aid.
- Other duties, as assigned by the Associate VP and in collaboration with members of the Grad/CFA admissions staff.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- Three (3) years of full-time work experience in admission, college advising, college counseling, sales, business development, and/or outreach.
- Experience interacting respectfully and helpfully with a diverse population of students and parents.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MA degree preferred
